Vst Plugins Not Showing Up In Cubase

Dune Version 1.42 not showing up in Cubase. By jaxpanik » Sat Sep 29, 2012 6:34 pm. remove Dune.vst - open Cubase and update vst plugins list - close Cubase.

  • If a plugin does not show up check cubase's blacklist in Usersusername AppData Roaming SteinbergCubaseversion Plugins being resized are up to the developer of the plugins. I havent heard of that being exclusive to VST3 though, as U-he's plugins are resizable in vst2 versions as well.
  • So I bought the puigtec plugins and when I install them they don't show up in my vst list? I have two other plugins I bought that show up no problem. I use a external hd to hold my licenses so I can switch from comp to comp. Anyone have this issue before? I haven't tried my PC yet but on my MacBook Pro they don't show up? It's cubase 7.5 that I.

The Plug-in could not be found message appears in the following situations:

  • When you remove an external device from the VST Connections/best-free-stereo-vst.html. window although it is used in a saved project.

  • When you transfer a project to another computer on which the external device is not defined.

  • When you open a project that is created with an earlier version of Cubase.

In the VST Connections window, the broken connection to the external device is indicated by an icon in the Bus Name column.

  • To reestablish the broken connection to the external device, right-click the entry for the device in the Bus Name column and select Connect External Effect.

ive had this problem ever since i reinstalled windows 7, on my previous install most vst plugins seemed to show up although i remember the waves bundle not working within cubase 5, now some plugins just simply refuse to show up no matter how many times i reinstall them or put them in a different location and change my vst search folder.
i had put this down as an issue with cubase 5 since the plugins seem to show up just fine in fl studio.

i eventually got sick of cubase’s stubborn workflow and so i went searching for alternatives…….and therefore i am now a happy podium user. the problem is it seems the same plugins are not showing in podium either….i tried reinstalling and changing my vst folder but nothing changes.

so the problem is not cubase but seems to have to do with my windows system?….

im a bit of a noob with pc hardware but i know this much about my system

Cubase

windows 7 32bit

4 gigs of ddr2 ram

quad core AMD cpu thing….

and i think i have a gigabyte motherboard.
